UC RUSAL TO INCREASE ITS STAKE IN YAROSLAVSK GRK TO 100%

UC RUSAL, the world's largest aluminium producer, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to acquire 50% of OOO "Yaroslavsk GRK" (Yaroslavsk Mining Company) from Russian Mining Company (RGRK). Following completion of the deal, Yaroslavsk GRK will be 100% wholly owned by RUSAL.

The winners of Robofest-2011 (a joint programme organized by Oleg Deripaska's Volnoe Delo Foundation and Rosmolodezh) attended this years World Robotic Olympics. The Olympics were held in Abu Dhabi, on November 17 through 21. It brought together 377 teams from 35 countries. Russia was represented by 23 teams from Moscow, Ulyanovsk, Nadym, Zheleznogorsk and Chelyabinsk regions. The national team did well in the qualifying matches - almost all the teams made the top 16 in their category.

UC RUSAL Packaging Division Plans To Increase Its Production By 25%

UC RUSAL is pleased to announce its plans to increase the total production volume of its Packaging Division by 25% until 2014, from 80,000 to 100,000 tonnes per annum, amounting to 5.3% of the world's total foil production (excluding China). The Division will also review its production portfolio, to focus on converter foil. Total investment in the project will amount to about USD17 million.
